Friends of Trevallyn Reserve

Friends of Trevallyn Reserve get together for a couple of hours a month to keep our Trevallyn bushland in fine form. The bush is in generally great condition, so our management work is very targeted and rewarding - mainly weeding and occasionally some planting, seed collecting or monitoring. We always like to look at plants and wildlife while we are there and it's relaxed and sociable. (Many locations do require some rugged walking - we'll note this in emails.) We share a cuppa afterwards most times and we often bring cake!

Location:

We work across the Trevallyn Nature Recreation Area (Parks and Wildlife reserve) and the Cataract Gorge Reserve (City of Launceston council reserve) in Launceston. Meeting points vary so get on our email list so you can find out where each month's working bee is located.

Regular events:

Second Saturday of the month (except January), from 10am-12. We often finish with a cuppa and cake afterwards.

How to join this organisation:

Anyone is welcome to join. Please email us or ring Anna to sign up. No charge.
