Friends of Carr Villa

The Friends of Carr Villa was started by the Australian Plant Society Tasmania Northern Group in collaboration with Tamar NRM and the City of Launceston. The group strives to mitigate the impact of an increasingly urban landscape context on the high level of Tasmanian biodiversity present within the reserve.

Activities include weed management, revegetation, track management and general bush regeneration.

This groups meets on the second Thursday of each month for a working bee, between 1pm and 3pm. Meeting point is the reserve entrance off Opossum Road.
