About the event
Woods Reserve is a lovely patch of dry woodland tucked away between Outram and Brougham Streets in West Launceston. The area has been managed by passionate Landcare members for decades, and we would like to celebrate and share their work with you!
Join us at the reserve on Saturday the 2nd of May for a sausage sizzle and walk around the reserve with some of the Landcare members to discuss the importance of these native vegetation remnants and the work they have done over the years to maintain them. We will also have a selection of native plants for restoring a section of the reserves understory. All ages and abilities welcome!
The BBQ and replanting site will be just next to the entrance on the corner of Brougham Street and Wilhemina Avenue. Please be advised parking is along these streets, so please park considerately.
