About the event
On Saturday the 11th of November, Community Gardens across the Tamar & Meander valleys will throw open their gates and welcome you to explore their sites and delights!Â
Each participating garden is putting its best foot forward and hosting activities to showcase its local flavour. Be it: plant & flower sales, music, BBQ, kids’ activities, games, pizza, mini-workshops, tours and composting demos. There’s sure to be something happening somewhere, that’s sure to interest everyone.Â
Community gardening is a fabulous reason to get outdoors, meet new people, enjoy the fruits of the earth – and often learn new skills.Â
♥ Want to connect with like-minded people close to where you live? Join a Community Garden.Â

♥ Want to encourage your kids to get outdoors and be curious about the natural world? Join a Community Garden.Â
♥ Want to learn how to start on the road to self-sufficiency? Join a Community Garden!Â
