About the event
The Tamar Estuary Bird Observers Group is looking for volunteers!
Tamar NRM, TEER and NRM North are supporting this group to begin regular monitoring at sites along the Tamar Estuary and looking for anyone interested. Beginner birders are very welcome, as we can help build your experience. Volunteers will work in teams of between 2-4 people, monitoring 6-7 sites every other month to begin.

Light refreshments will be provided.
At the meeting we will discuss all the necessary details around participation (e.g. what, where, when, how). We will also discuss the methodology behind monitoring. The monitoring program will be using Birdata, an app specifically designed for citizen science.
If you're on the fence, or don't feel like your bird ID skills are very strong, please join us regardless! There will be plenty of support and flexible opportunities for participants.
