About the event

Boneseed Blitz week is back again in 2023.

Boneseed is an invasive weed of national significance. It invades natural areas and out-competes native plants. It can invade the understorey of bushland, reduce biodiversity and become a fire hazard.

Help control boneseed in the Tamar Valley by:

  • Joining us at one of the organised events (see below)
  • Setting up a Boneseed Blitz event with your group
  • Removing boneseed from your property AND
  • Report any sightings to Tamar NRM on 03 6323 3310 or 0456 853 445

Tamar NRM can assist with free loan equipment including dabbers and loppers. Training is available for those who need it.
