Funding through the National Landcare Programme – Sustainable Agriculture Small Grants Round 2015-16 has enabled Tamar NRM to deliver a series of 10 workshops/field days looking at innovation and forward-looking solutions on the issues affecting agriculture in the Tamar Valley.
The workshop days will show best-practice and provide regionally relevant information to a wide range of producers in or around the Tamar Valley.
RM Consulting has been engaged to assist with the first three interlinked events delivered over March and April at several farming enterprises in northern Tasmania.
The three agriculturally focused themes of the workshop catering for the larger farmer are Soil Biology and Health, Pasture Management and Animal Health/Livestock Production.
